If I had a major project around my house I'd ask my neighbor's gardener/handyman for help. However, he'd quote me one price then charge me another when he was done. The hill below my house was in desperate need for clearing. Everything had grown out of control, and I knew it was not going to be an easy task. (It looked like a jungle.) I turned to Yelp for some recommendations. After meeting with a few people, Rueben had the best quote so we scheduled a day for the brush clearance. On our scheduled date Rueben and his crew showed up on time. They worked hard during the day and given the amount of work they had ahead of them I knew they wouldn't be able to complete the project in one day, which I was totally fine with. They showed up bright and early the next day to finish the job. When they were done cutting everything down and clearing it out of my back yard they took it to the dumb. Rueben and his crew did a great job. They were polite, friendly, and were careful when disposing the debris. Even though the job took them 2 days instead of 1 day Rueben still honored his quote and didn't charge me more like my neighbor's gardener. Now that the hill is clean it will need yearly maintenance and you can bet I'll be contacting Green Leaf Zone for the job.

Great experience from beginning to end!  Office staff was friendly and helpful and arranged an estimate appointment for the next day.  Estimator showed up right on time and was friendly and helpful as well.  The appointment was scheduled for the next morning.  The crew showed up right on time as well.  They were also friendly and helpful and did a great job trimming and cleaning up.  I highly recommend this company!

I called two companies to give me an estimate. The other company called to confirm and still no showed. Greenleaf came on time and gave me a fair estimate. We set the appointment to do the work. They came on time, did a great job and cleaned up. If you are comparing estimates, don't compare unlicensed and uninsured people against licensed and insured companies. I can't stress enough, from personal experience it is worth the extra you pay for insured companies. Some people's review said they cut too much but they're not mind readers so just hang out and tell them know how much or how little you want trimmed. They'll listen and cut how much you say.

We needed extensive tree removal due to construction and Rubin and his team were phenomenal. They were punctual, courteous, left the property immaculate and the best quote I received by thousands of dollars. We have worked with the team numerous times and they just get better and better. Green Leaf came on time to expertly trim 2 citrus trees that were out of control and to clear a patch of random plants.  They sent 3 guys, a wood chipper and truck and were done in under 2 hours!  All for a VERY reasonable price.  I know, I got other quotes that were way more.  Sal and the crew were friendly, competent and cleaned up very well.  I'm completely satisfied and will hire them again for the next job.  Thank you Green Leaf!!

These guys are artists. They thinned out a 100 ft tall Italian Stone Pine that had probably never been pruned - large, majestic (overgrown) tree. Two guys up in the tree for a combined 12 hours or so, with another three or four on the ground clearing out the cuttings. I reminded them several times that it was my favorite tree. It's even more beautiful now, and doesn't pose a hazard in the windstorms we've been getting in the hills. They did a great job cleaning up the mess, and damage was kept to a minimum (we lost two small shrubs in the drop zone, but both adjacent neighbor properties sustained no damage, thankfully). Pricing was reasonable, given the job. I would highly recommend them.
